PECAN UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

This cake is a delightful blend of caramelized pecans and moist, tender cake. It’s perfect for dessert or a special occasion. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

For the Pecan Topping:

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
For the Cake Batter:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Prepare the Pecan Topping: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter. Stir in the brown sugar until it’s well combined and begins to bubble. Remove from heat.
