Cheesecake brownies with cherries

INSTRUCTIONS

 

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees top/bottom heat and grease your baking pan.

Melt the chocolate together with the butter over a water bath.

In the meantime, beat the eggs with the sugar and salt in a bowl until frothy. Then add the chocolate-butter mixture.

Then fold in flour and baking powder.

Mix all the ingredients for the cheesecake mixture in a bowl with a whisk.

Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter into your pan. Distribute the cherries on top and press them well into the batter.

Spread the cheesecake mixture on top.

Place the last third of the brownie batter in dots on top of the cheesecake mixture. Use a fork to spread it out in curved lines to create a pattern between the two layers.

Bake the cake for about 30 minutes, let it cool and then cut it into pieces.
