Sausage Cheddar Breakfast Muffins!

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
