Big Mac Salad

1 lb ground beef
Salt, pepper & onion powder
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped tomato
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce; chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup pickles, chopped
1/4 cup bacon bits (optional)
Thousand Island dressing w/bacon
1. Brown ground beef & onion in a skillet over med heat. Season with salt, pepper and onion powder. Break up meat with a spatula, cooking for about 7-10 minutes, until the beef is no longer pink and moisture has evaporated. Add optionl bacon bits to warm up. Drain ground beef mixture, if necessary. Set aside.
2. Mix chopped lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles in a salad bowl. Add ground beef and a 3 squirts of the salad dressing and toss to coat.
