A Refreshing Lemon and Ginger Drink for Supporting Weight Loss

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger (about an inch long)
  • 1 liter of water
  • Optional: a teaspoon of honey for sweetness
  • Preparation:
    • Begin by thinly slicing the lemon and ginger. There’s no need to peel the ginger if it’s been well cleaned.
    • Bring the water to a boil in a large pot and then add the lemon slices and ginger.
    • Let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
    • After simmering, turn off the heat and let the mixture steep as it cools.
    • Strain the drink and, if you choose, sweeten it with a little honey.
