- 2 cups water
- 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup white grits
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
Shrimp
- 4 slices bacon cubed
- 2 tablespoons garlic minced, about 2-3 cloves
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch green onions chopped, divided
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice juice from 1 small lemon
- Hot sauce to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
